Is a boy

Today went for our 5th month check up...
And finally, this round from the ultrasound, we can see that... He is a boy :)
Actually we don't really have any preference... As long as he is healthy!! Gambateh bb!!

Mummy is feeling great recently! No more vomiting, eat well, gain appetite, and weight gain from 47kg to 53kg within this month! No high blood sugar, doctor said weight gain still within control, since mummy was underweight before pregnancy! Means I can still enjoy eating now!! Hehe...

Well, a lot of people said my tummy is small... with 4 months pregnancy... let's see the progress here :)

Well, it is now 33 inches!!

Growth from 26 inches!

But my weight still remain the same, with 48kg... guess because of the morning sickness and bad vomitting. Hopefully will get better soon.

胎教

今天妈妈开始做工了。。。
因为有点闲空，听起音乐来了。。。　
也第一次给宝宝来个胎教！　
哈哈！
这可是爸爸教的哦！　
我觉得我应该是疯了吧！
不知是我敏感或怎样。。。　感觉到宝宝在动呢！哈哈！

Our baby 1st check up and pregnancy complexity

We have done our first official baby check up on 19th Sept, 2011 right after we have landed in Penang from US. After the 16hrs long journey flight, i really felt there is a need to go for a check up to make sure of baby is doing fine. Further more, this mummy accidentally fell down when leading Coco and Sam at LA airport... really scared if there is anything...

Our first ultrasound - as you can see, baby is now 13weeks 6 days. :)
Can see her/his head, backbone, leg is kicking too! But think he/she is too shy to open up the leg, for us to see whether is a boy or a gal. hehe... we have done the check up at Adventist with Dr Zovi. Per what she said, everything is normal... told us can eat ANYTHING... complaint to her about the bad vomitting, but she insisted this is normal...

Is a strange feeling when you first time seeing your own baby moving and sleeping inside you... when you hear the heart beat, you just feel relief... I can sense the happiness and excitement from daddy too... the 2hrs waiting for the checkup is worth!

Things went wrong... on 21st Sept, 2011...
Mummy went to work as normal (first day back to work in KM), done some shopping at night for grocery... and after shower, around 10.30pm... mummy suddenly felt the bleeding! It was so scary, and we both dont know what to do! This is the first time i experience bleeding after the 3 months pregnancy. Thought everything will get smoother after the 1st trimester...

We drove to nearer hospital at BM here, and found out those specialists are closed.
We directly drove to Adventist (~50mins drive from our house) for emergency... on our way, we just keep quiet, and not talking to each other... we just holding our hand... and praying inside our heart, hope baby is doing fine!! Never felt the 50mins journey is so long... for us, is about 50hrs! No one cried in the car that time... once we went to register for emergency, once we saw the nurse reaction after knowing that i was bleeding... my tears just falls down non-stop... everyone was so anxious about bleeding, asked me to lie down, dont walk. Just wait for doctor to come. Dr Zovi stayed nearby the hospital, came within 15mins by walking distance.

She did the check up again... in fact, she has forgotten us even we just visited 2 days ago... what a busy doctor nowadays. We were so scared, when she told us "the baby is trying to come out!" After the ultrasound, she told us an even shocking news!! "You got twin!" I just looked at hubby with tears coming out... then she continued "But one already die inside"... she was explaining to us that the die one not successfully developed to fetus since early stage, and now appeared as "empty sac" inside. And the die one wanted to come out... which she will need to prevent this, as scared the live one will come out together.

This is the ultrasound we took during the night of emergency, on 21st Sept. The feeling is so great when you see the baby moving inside, with strong heart beat! At least, he/she make it!

I was then admitted for 2 nights... to observe my condition... given hormone injection to protect the baby, nurse came in every 2hrs to check whether i still bleed... hubby stayed with me whole night too...



After 2 days bed rest in hospital, Dr Zovi scan the baby condition again.
It is 23rd Sept, 2011.
This is the 3rd time we get to see our baby... still kicking his/her leg!
Baby is doing great! Good job!
Dr allowed me to discharge, but need to rest at home with one week MC.

Unfortunately, during my checkup on 2nd Oct, i get bleeding again... this round, Dr Zovi said, the empty sac still stay inside... and this is the root cause for my bleeding. Again, i was given another one more week MC... hubby did the online checking for my condition. For those interested, you can google "vanishing twin" and get more information from there. Just found out that it is actually a very common condition, whereby the most common syndroms including bleeding, uterine cramps, and pelvic pain.

We just hope the surviving twin is doing fine now...
In fact, after this, i just found out how much i love this baby! 我觉得他／她已经和我是一体的，第一次觉得宝宝的重要性！

New Yorker BB (Sept)

Yeah~ This is about our BB trip to New York!! Yes, he/she also been visiting NY! Actually we booked the air ticket long time before i get pregnant... so is not the parents too playful... :P

Of course, the trip brought many vomitting as well... in hotel, in plane... this is the last trip we visited during our assignment in US. Just after the trip (2 days), we flew back to Malaysia lo!

Actually when we were in US... visited Intel panel clinic - Dr Fry. She was good, and just did the prelim check up for me. Recommended no need to visit any Gynae in US, since we are going back to Malaysia in Sept... she adviced us to take our first check up back in Malaysia. And re-assure us that we can still take flight.

Well, i think i forgot to mention about the early pregnancy condition.... i have very bad vomitting!! Sometimes can even reach 10 times per day, can you imagine that? Having very bad appetide too... during my 1st 2 months pregnancy, i have lost 2kg weight. :( Really bad huh!

And many people said - our kid should be named as "Chandler" due to made in Chandler. However, we are not sure whether he/she (ya, we dont know is a she or he yet) was made in Chandler or not... most probably made in San Fransisco. :) This baby has visited many places in US together with daddy and mummy. First visit - San Fransisco, Santa Clara, Santa Monica (LA), maybe also visited Universal Studio in CA. Hehe... then in August, we have visited to Miami too!! Mummy dream place! And bringing baby together... of course, not forgetting vomit badly during the trip! In plane! After that, we have been visiting New York, Niagara Falls, and Washington DC!! Yes, baby, you have been there since you are in mummy tummy!!
